I needed a STAR certified smog test station, and found that The Smog Man was certified and had rave reviews on Yelp. Came in on a Friday morning around 10:00 AM. There was one person ahead of me, so I took a seat in the waiting room. I waited around 10 minutes before it was my turn. The guy working was friendly and efficient. He looked over my papers, and gave me a $20 discount for checking in on Yelp. I waited another 15 minutes for him to test my car, and that was it. Easy peasy! Definitely going to be coming back for my future smog tests.

I got off work late once again and needed a smog real bad. I called The Smog Man at 5:45pm. He answered the phone. I asked him what time they close and he said 5:30pm. I asked him if he could please stay open for me a few more min because I had to get my car smoged and I was at least 15 min away. He said no problem bring it in I will be here. On the way from work I hit traffic so I called him again he said dont worry just drive safe he will be here. I was amazed at how polite and professional he is. I finally got there at 6:40 over an hour after they close. He met me at the desk he had the roll up door open and he took care of my car for me without any issues and he even gave me a discount. I can see why he has a 5 star rating I will recommend this to friends and family.

This shop is now a STAR certified shop! Came in on this sunny day and was greeted by the manager/owner. Awesome friendly guy who was quick to get my car in. 3-4 other cars rolled in right after me and were willing to wait. Obviously they didn't have to wait because there are other shops around. So you know this shop is legit. His techs were smooth and fast on getting things done. I don't know about the rest of everyone, but sometimes you can tell when a tech is sloppy or doesn't want to work (they drag things around, slam doors, throw things, etc), but these guys were careful in not scratching anything. So this shop is definitely a new-car-friendly shop. Shop is clean and not cluttered like other shops. There are a few chairs in the front waiting room for those who happen to have their family along. After everything was done, the manager was helpful on giving tips on how to get registration done fast. Other shops will just take your smog money and just throw you back out in the street.... THANKS SMOGMAN! I'm bringing in a family's car in soon

Absolutely flawless service and experience. Arrived at 9:00 AM sharp and was greeted by the Smog Man. He told me it would be a few minutes while he setup the equipment. Had a seat, waited a bit, and that was it! No fuss, no muss. Thanks for the quick turnaround and the courteous service! Highly recommended.

Very resourceful. Even though the gentleman I spoke to couldnt help me with my car (due to new CA laws), he was still willing to helping me any way he could and guided me. Thank you! ~Michelle

(my visit was mid Nov, 2012) This is my 3rd time coming to the Smog Man And every time has been quick and efficient. They have a clean waiting room with magazines, Legos, & kids books. The staff is friendly and courteous. If I could give this place six stars I would! FYI, use a coupon from their website.

This was the first time I ever had to get a smog check/test. Came here on a Saturday morning and there were like three other people ahead of me, so I had to wait maybe 40 minutes or so until the smog man got to my car, but I kinda figured Saturday would be a busy day, so I came prepared with reading material. Once the smog man got to my car, it was about 15 minutes for the actual testing. And my little Civic passed! When he was done, the smog man processed my payment and gave me my paperwork and said that he already sent the results to the DMV and told me not to worry about the ABS indicator that would be on when I started my car. I also overhead him tell other customers that if their test failed, he would honor a free re-test within a certain amount of time. There's also a coupon on his website that you can just show him on your phone. The whole process couldn't have been easier. If you don't want to wait or can't wait, you should go on a weekday.

My cars gas pedal kept getting stuck. (Probably from my lead foot) So it took a couple of tries to complete the test. Smogman came out to tell me that he had to spend a little extra time to complete the test because of this. When he came out to tell me the lady that was next after me left. I guess she couldn't wait 5 more mins. Anyways they may have lost a customer for the extra time put on my car but they gained another 5 star review!
