This place is amazing! I got the run around going to three different smog shops in San Jose that would not do my 1990 Toyota pick-up truck. I finally did some research and made a phone call to this place and was pleasntly surprised that they not only would work on my truck, but were very professional and courteous. I've had a few freinds mention they needed a smog check and told them both to go here. By far the best smog shop I've been to, hands down! Go here!

First of all, Kathy, who runs the front and back of the shop is very kind and professional. She seems to really care about your shop experience. Very professional and accommodating, especially that I called last minute and they managed to fit me in while I waited. The environment is clean, friendly and a comfortable area to wait. And this is coming from a former shop owner. I highly recommend this company.

I came here because it was in my neighborhood and had an online coupon. The front desk person greeted me when I came in. Very friendly and professional staff. It took an hour to get my smog check, but I didn’t have an appointment. They also did a general check of my car, and didn’t come up with any bogus repair work needed. I’d recommend them (though you might want to make an appointment).

It was the best smog testing experience I have ever had, and that’s saying a lot because we have a bunch of old cars. I especially loved a receptionist who answers phones, questions and makes appointments. They are quick and efficient and there is a comfortable waiting area. I liked it so much I went back the next day to get a car re-smogged.

Great service from scheduling my appointment and convenient location. Their waiting area and work bays were super clean. Also got a quote on fixing a couple of things they noticed while completing my smog check. I would definitely recommend Smog Man!
