I seriously don't know if it even took him 5 minutes to finish my smog check. Amazing service. I was expecting a day of waiting rooms, vending machines, and crying children. I got none of that (though they do have a vending machine, but I don't think it gets much use as no one has to wait long enough to want something from it). I can't recommend this place enough.

5 Stars: get in, get out, get $20 off. $58.00 was my total. Coupon worked just fine, there was one car ahead of me finishing up, and my car took less than 10 minutes to complete the test. This place is tucked away a little bit, but there are signs to direct you to the driveway of this place.Waiting room was small but clean, not that I had to stay in there very long anyway.

I had taken my car to the Chevron Station down the block for a smog check and the mechanic said I would need to have my wheels aligned before he could do the smog check. I then took my car to the Smog Man and they performed a speedy smog check telling me that it wasn't necessary to have this alignment done to do this test. The staff was extremely courteous and experienced. I would not hesitate to take my vehicle to this shop for repair. And like fellow Yelpers said, the waiting room is extremely comfortable. These guys rock!

My daughter's raised 1993 Jeep Wrangler, after sitting for almost a year, needed a smog test so I decided to take the bull by the horns and take care of business. I looked up on the Internet (completely forgot to check Yelp) for a nearby smog test only station and found The Smog Man. FANTASTIC! The gentleman was unbelievably cordial, yet very efficient. He took me within minutes, explained the process and how long it would take. A few other people came in right behind me and he handled them professionally and cordially while tending to my test (very efficient!) It appeared that he was the only one working here, yet things ran so smoothly, it could have been an entire team running the business. Although I fully expected the jeep to fail the test, it passed and he gave me great information on fuel additives if the jeep will be sitting again for more than a week or so, and some advice to check on a couple of things he heard when he cranked it up. I was in and out within about 25 minutes. I will always come back to this place for smog tests.

The Smog Man was professional and efficient. His garage is clean, and he had me out in 15 minutes. He has been around since 2004. As everyone says, print out the coupon for the discount. It cost about $58. I would recommend this place for a hassle free and fast smog check.

I can't believe I experienced a brief moment of zen at a smog check place! A friendly, charming young man took care of my smog check while I waited in a little (but cute) waiting room with candles and magazines. When I didn't pass, he explained the State's repair assistance program and suggested what part might be to blame. I don't think I'll ever have a better smog check experience.

Was recommended this place from a friend who had a great experience. I called ahead to see if they had any time on Tuesday morning and they said to come by. I got there and was assisted right away. The check took 10 minutes which I spent in their clean and airy waiting area. With the 20% off coupon from their website, the total was $58. Now this is my first time having to get a smog check so I don't have anything to compare this to but it was fast, clean, and friendly so I'd highly recommend this place!
