Thank god for Yelp I tell ya! Needed a smog check for my pimp ride so I decided to go to The Smog Man since they had a COUPON! I'm a coupon whore. ;) There's no appointment needed here, it's just first come, first serve. The technicians are very fast, I was in and out in 10 minutes.
This place is great normally the Tech reconized me as previous customer. And didnt even ask for my coupon he just noted discount on my reciept. have been coming here for the past few years and will continue as long as he continues to provide great service. I could honestly say I have a great relationship with my SmogMan! Well as could as any relationship could be with someone you only see a few times every couple of years. Note: I did have my coupon just in case.

Okay, this is my third time using The Smog man in two years and the service is consistent...just fabulous every time. I arrived at 12:05pm on a Tuesday out by 12:15. Enough said. How many more reviews do you need to read? Whatta ya waitin' for? Print out the coupon and just go to Smog man now. Found this place on Yelp. Printed out $20.00 coupon off from their website. Went in on a Saturday at about 3pm and there was no wait. In and out in about 10-15 min. Total cost with coupon was under 59 bucks. Painless experience for me. UPDATE: 04/29/09 My second car needed a smog check. I did the same thing as last time. I printed the 20 dollar coupon and was the first one there when it opened last Tuesday. I was in and out with in 15 min tops. Good quick service.
I was initially drawn here because there was talk about a cute attendant. Turns out it was a dude. Fail, I haz it. Cleanest smog station I've ever been to. 15 minutes and $58 later I was on my way. The only downside to this place is no free re-test if you fail. If you have an old car, print a few of those $20 coupons.

I needed to get a smog check and I saw that they were close by and had a yelp discount. I went over on a Saturday and waited a minute as they were finishing up with another customer. I then gave him my DMV notice that required me to get a smog test. He told me that after the test was done, that it would get automatically sent to the DMV, great, less work for me. He then took the test which only took 10 minutes, and I passed. I would use this business again.
This place was fantastic! I had a check engine light, and fixed my o2 sensor myself and had to reset my computer to remove the fault code. Little did I know but you need to have a lot of driving data stored in your computer to pass the smog test, mine had almost none. Smog man told me this after hooking up the tester to my car, free of charge. So I went driving around that day and came back later and he hooked me up again to find that I still needed juuuust a bit more data before I would be able to pass the test. I drove to the city that night and returned the next morning and passed my smog test. The guy could have charged Mr huge fees every time u came to see him but he was super freaking nice every time! Super fast work too. This place is the sheeeet! The smog man is totally cool and made very easy small talk. There's a twenty dollar coupon on his site too. I didn't even present mine and he still applied it anyway. I couldn't have possibly been more pleased with the incredibly friendly and professional and even compassionate level of service. I'll never smog anywhere else NOR will I ever recommend another smog station. Totally blown away. Made my freaking day.
